Dunedin, Mt Cook This morning travel out to the Otago Peninsula, a precious wildlife habitat. Your first stop is Larnach Castle and you are here for a guided tour of the grounds and interior. Continue on Natures Wonders and get up close and personal with the penguins, seals and birdlife that inhabit this region. Depart Dunedin in the afternoon and visit the village of Oamaru, stopping to look at the old whitestone buildings unique to this town. Follow the Waitaki Valley to the region known as Mackenzie Country, viewing the Alpine Blue Lakes of Lake Pukaki and snow-capped mountain scenery along the way, before arriving at Aoraki, Mt Cook!
