Martinborough, Wellington
Travel the short distance to Paua World and marvel at this magnificent New Zealand sea shell being turned into beautiful, low cost jewellery, a great place to buy souvenirs. Continue on to Martinborough, a wine village of significance, and the award winning Tirohana Estate. You are here for a traditional Devonshire Tea and whilst here you can enjoy optional wine tasting. After morning tea, re-board your coach and travel across the Rimutaka Ranges to Wellington, stopping en route for lunch at the Petone foreshore (own cost) before arriving in New Zealand’s capital city. Arrive in Wellington for a sightseeing tour of the city including Parliament House and the Beehive. Visit Te Papa Museum, a truly amazing place and your guided tour will certainly be a highlight. Transfer to your hotel, which boasts the best views of the city and harbour from where it is a short walk to the Courtney Quarter with its many restaurants, bars and cafes.

Picton, Christchurch
After breakfast, transfer to the ferry terminal and board the Interislander Ferry. Cross Cook Strait through picturesque Queen Charlotte Sound to the small fishing village of Picton, gateway to the South Island. Disembark and board your luxury coach for the journey to Montana’s Brancott Winery. Enjoy a Cellar Door experience, wine tasting, vineyard tour and an included lunch. This is New Zealand’s largest winery and home of Montana Wines.

Depart for Kaikoura, a fishing town that also boasts some of the world’s finest whale watching. View the Seal Colony here and continue along the shadow of the Kaikoura Ranges and on to beautiful garden city of Christchurch. Tonight is late night shopping so you may wish to do some last minute Christmas shopping after dinner.

Mt Cook
CHRISTMAS EVE! Arrive at the International Antarctic Centre, where we have arranged for you to throw snowballs, ride the Hagglund ice and snow vehicle and have a uniquely different experience! Feel an Antarctic chill, see penguins and view a prize winning maxi-screen movie of the Antarctic. Reboard your coach and travel to Lake Tekapo, stopping at the Church of the Good Shepherd, one of New Zealand's most visited tourist attractions.

View the Alpine Blue Lakes of Lake Pukaki and snow capped mountains before arriving at Aoraki "Mt Cook". Check into your amazing mountain resort. Visit the outstanding Department of Conservation Centre based at Mt Cook and enjoy the loads of information and displays available. You will learn and discover so much about the region and the importance of conservation. Located at The Hermitage Mt Cook is the Sir Edmund Hillary Alpine Centre. You will be provided with an unlimited pass, including entry to the Theatre and Planetarium, the Sir Edmund Gallery and the 3D movie, “Mt Cook Magic” taking you on a thrilling journey to the top of the mountain. Open from 7.30am to 9.30pm and offering something different every day, you could spend many hours here and still not see it all! Mt Cook
MERRY CHRISTMAS!! After you recover from the stunning scenery outside your hotel room window, enjoy a hearty breakfast and prepare for a day as full or as relaxed as you wish! You can take an optional helicopter or fixed wing aircraft flight over stunning mountain scenery to the awe-inspiring Tasman Glacier. Travel to the alpine village of Queenstown today, a popular destination and an icon of New Zealand famous for it's adventure and adrenalin based activities.

Stop at Puzzling World and be entranced by the mazes, illusions, holograms and puzzles at this amazing venue. Depart here and en-route to Cromwell, stop at a local fruit orchard for some stone fruit (own cost).

Enjoy lunch and a Cellar Door Experience at Gibbston Valley Winery, who produce some of New Zealand's finest wines and home of the best Pino Noir! Arrive in Queenstown and unwind at your hotel, or maybe embark on an optional TSS Earnslaw Cruise to Walter Peak Station (optional cost).

Dunedin
Today you will visit the Otago Peninsula headland near Dunedin. You have the opportunity to visit either Larnach Castle or Natures Wonders. Morning tea is available (own cost) at both destinations. Larnach Castle is New Zealand’s only castle and is renowned for it’s gardens of international significance. Stroll through the magnificent gardens and take a guided tour of the castle’s interior. With its exciting, sometimes scandalous and tragic history, magnificent carved ceilings, antiques and breathtaking views, Larnach Castle is one of New Zealand's most visited attractions.

Nature lovers may prefer to visit Natures Wonders, a working farm where you will get up close and personal with the wildlife that inhabit this property. The Otago Peninsula Headland is arguably the most precious wildlife habitat in New Zealand and the farm owned by the Reid family is right on the forefront of this headland. Board the Argo 8 Wheel Transport, an exciting but smooth ride that will take you to seals, penguins, nesting seabirds and spectacular views.

Time to depart and continue through the Taieri Valley and farmlands of Southland to Te Anau and your hotel. You are in the centre of town and have time to explore the country style shopping. Assemble at the Fiordland Theatre a short walk from your hotel, where you will watch the movie “Ata Whenua…The Shadowlands”, a very special short film and one which will set the scene for tomorrow.

Te Anau, Milford Sound, Queenstown
Travel the famous road to , through huge beech forests, mountain valleys with reflective mirror lakes, through the Homer tunnel and zig–zag down the Cledau Valley to The Chasm - nature’s sculptor at work. Board the Milford Sovereign and . View Mitre Peak and search for wildlife and waterfalls, cruising out to the Tasman Sea to a rocky seal colony before returning. If the day is wet the display of falling, tumbling waterfalls abound. The Stirling Falls and the Bowen Falls when full are magnificent. An international buffet lunch is included.

Return to Milford and retrace your way back to Te Anau and continue north to Queenstown, sightseeing along the way. Upon arrival enjoy a brief orientation tour and visit “The Station”, a company that will assist you with tomorrow’s leisure options. Queenstown is renowned for its nightlife, so if you feel like going out, this is a great opportunity to do so.

Wanaka, Fox Glacier
Depart from Queenstown and travel to Arthurs Point and the Shotover Gorge to picture perfect Arrowtown with time to wander amongst the historic buildings and boutique shops. Continue through the Kawerau Gorge to the town of Wanaka, a popular holiday destination. Stop at the lakefront which provides an opportunity to stretch your legs and buy morning tea (own cost). Continue through the spectacular Mt Aspiring National Park and the scenic Haast Pass to the West Coast. The journey offers a spectacular landscape of towering mountains, wetlands, fast flowing rivers and dense rainforest sprinkled with endless waterfalls. Arrive at Fox Glacier and check into your hotel.

Tonight is New Year's Eve and the village of Fox will be celebrating, so enjoy the festivities and have fun!

Fox Glacier, Hokitika, Christchurch
This morning you can enjoy a leisurely start to the day, or early risers can visit Lake Matheson before breakfast. After breakfast you can take an optional Glacier excursion, choose the a Fox Trail Walk, suitable for varying levels of fitness, or a helicopter ride to the top of Fox Glacier where you land on the glacier for an awesome, snow filled experience. Both Glacier options must be pre-booked (own cost) and are weather and time dependent.

Afterwards, travel to the old gold mining town of Hokitika and visit the Greenstone Factory and Glass Blower. Continue on to Arthur’s Pass and board the TranzAlpine Train Express, regarded as one of the great rail journeys of the world, cross over giant viaducts, dark tunnels and valleys backed by stunning mountain scenery. Follow the Waimakariri River and travel through the eastern foothills to the Canterbury Plains. Continue to Christchurch and transfer to your hotel. Tonight is New Year's Eve, so enjoy the festivities in Christchurch as you celebrate the last night of 2010!
