New Zealand has won the world's premier yachting trophy, the America's Cup, twice and has been in the final 5 times; more than any other country except the USA. It's got their name on it, after all!
Now you can experience the ultimate in racing yachts in Queenstown aboard NZL14 - the yacht that competed in the America's Cup in San Diego in 1992.
Designed by Bruce Farr, one of the world's leading racing yacht designers and made from carbon fibre, NZL14 is an amazing example of leading edge boat design.
At 22.9m(75ft), weighing in at 22 tonnes, and with up to 500 square metres of sail area, it's about as serious a piece of racing equipment a lot of money can buy.
On board NZL14 you'll be as hands on as you want to be, with a crewing experience that will take your breath away and give you a taste of what it's like to race a very special class of yacht.
You'll be able to take the helm, have a workout on a grinder or simply sit back and let someone else do all the work.
Even if you choose to go hard at it, you'll still be able to take in some of the most magnificent scenery you're ever likely to see while wearing waterproof clothing.
A trip on board NZL14 is one of the best ways to see the stunning Wakatipu basin.
With no engine noise and just the sound of wind and water, you'll be able to take in the stunning surroundings and feel that you're really part of it, not just looking at it.
Even though you'll be on one of the world's fastest and most finely-tuned sailing boats, safety is always our priority.
Our safety standards are paramount and we strictly adhere to the letter of New Zealand Maritime Laws.
Photo packs capturing your ultimate sailing experience and crewing skills are available for purchase immediately after reaching dry land.
There is also a range of Team NZL14 merchandise available including caps, t-shirts and polos for a special souvenir of a very special experience.
