Experience this magnificent alpine environment with a high scenic flight over the Ben Ohau mountains. The magnificent landscape changes from low rolling hills, to steeper and more rugged mountains as the helicopter rises above scarred ridges left by the ancient glaciers.

Fly close to the steep ridges and rise over a mountain pass that reveals superb views out to Aoraki/Mount Cook and its surrounding peaks.

Land on the Richardson Glacier where you will be able to step out of the helicopter and play in the snow. Enjoy expansive views down the Tasman Valley on your return to Glentanner Park at the head of the beautiful turquoise coloured Lake Pukaki.

The helicopter can hover, and land on some of New Zealand's most remote areas, which is the ideal location for sightseeing the towering peaks, crevasse filled glaciers and sparkling waterways right up close.

Your professional pilot delivers an informative commentary en route.

The Helicopters are predominately European AS355 Twin Engine Squirrels (seats 06 passengers plus pilot). These are ideal for scenic flights, with an open plan cabin making for excellent views for all passengers. The Helicopter Line has the highest levels of Civil Aviation Authority certification for scenic helicopter operations, this involves regular monitoring and audit of all aspects of the operations.
