Visit the Yellow Eyed Penguin Reserve, then cruise the length of the beautiful Otago Harbour with us; enjoy the Wildlife Cruise of spectacular Taiaroa Head and return via a scenic Otago Peninsula bus tour.

Enjoy a guided tour of the Yellow Eyed Penguin Reserve. This rugged and wild coastline is the natural home of the Yellow Eyed Penguin, the rarest penguin in the world found only on the south east coast of New Zealand.

Be fascinated and exhilarated with the wealth of wildlife, dramatic views, so close and so natural with this half day cruise and coach tour of Dunedin's Otago Peninsula, Otago Harbour and Taiaroa Head; the only mainland nesting place for Northern Royal Albatross in the world, and home to New Zealand fur seals, and eight other nesting bird species.

Experience wildlife including Albatross, Fur Seals, Yellow Eyed Penguins, Shags, Gulls, Terns Oyster Catchers & Herons. Often seen are Dolphins, Sea Lions Blue Penguins, Shearwaters, Godwits, Royal Spoonbills, Cape Pigeons and Petrels.

The "Wandering Albatross" has the largest wingspan of any living bird, with the average wingspan being 3.1 metres (10.2 ft), as a result of which it is capable of remaining in the air for several hours at a time without beating its wings. The back of their wings change from black to white with age. Several species of albatross are observed including Buller, White Capped, Black Browed, Southern Royals. We also occasionally observe whales including Orcas.
