Punting on the Avon
Refined, relaxing & romantic – Punting on the beautiful Avon River is an iconic Christchurch attraction not to be missed. The waters of the Avon ripple by as you sit back on deep cushioned seats in a classic Punt while your Edwardian-dressed Punter guides you quietly on a 30 minute ride past trailing willows, woodlands, leafy banks and the sights of the garden city of Christchurch.

Mona Vale Gardens
Historic Mona Vale features five and a half hectares of beautiful gardens and sweeping lawns down to the gently flowing Avon River. Enjoy the colourful profusion of the Iris Garden, Rose Garden. Fernery, Lily Pond, rhododendrons, camellias, conifers and maples.

Sign of the Takahe
Take in the panoramic views of Christchurch City and surrounding plains, mountains and coastline from the historic mansion, "Sign of the Takahe" outlook on the city’s Port Hills.

Sumner & Redcliffs Seaside Villages
Your tour includes the delightful seaside village of Sumner with its boutique shops, cafes and restaurants situated across from the beach. En route we pass by the ‘earthquake artwork’, created by shipping containers designed to strengthen the seaside hill suburbs. ‘Container Village’ We deliver you to city centre for lunch at your leisure. (lunch is own expense). Here you will have as much time as you wish to explore the new look city centre of Christchurch. Constructed of ‘designer’ shipping containers this development is breathing new life into the devastated centre of town and is a clever example of Christchurch’s vision for recovery.
