Top kiwi chef Peter Thornley and his hand-picked team at Kermadec Bar and Restaurant have created a menu with tasty New Zealand fare with the emphasis on seafood. Your three-course seafood dinner is served below decks, accompanied by a range of beverages which can purchased from the ship's bar. A Typical Dinner Cruise Menu might be:
ENTRÉE
- New Caledonia prawns with tomato, cucumber, ginger and red onion salsa OR
- Roasted beurre bosc pear with whipped goats cheese and Parma ham
MAIN
- Roasted Big Glory Bay salmon, fondant potato, chargrilled vegetables, walnut tomato and lemon dressing OR
- Organic free range chicken butter roasted, fondant potato, caramilised parsnips, confit garlic and rosemary honey dressing
DESSERT
- Vanilla crème brûlée with sesame tuille
- Tea and coffee
The Dinner Cruise ties up at a sheltered anchorage within the largest yacht marina in the southern hemisphere as the tables below deck are set for the Dinner, along with the ship's bar for drinks.
After dinner the sails are set to pass under the Auckland Harbour Bridge to Chelsea Sugar Works, Devonport Naval Base and the City's Waterfront.
Enjoy great sailing on board the Pride of Auckland Yacht and, as the sun sets, watch the lights of this photogenic city come alive. Your experienced crew will describe Auckland’s unique sights and those wishing to participate in the sailing can do so.
A licensed cash bar is available on board. The bar carries a selection of premium New Zealand beers and wines and soft drinks. This menu is served at our sheltered anchorage.
